Voice Lessons

Rockstar wrinkles her nose approvingly of my singing (or for the cookie).

Yippee! I finally got around to scheduling a voice lesson with a local opera singer, Egle Chisiu, and it was wonderful. She's from Lithuania originally and met her Romanian husband while they were both studying voice in Italy. He sings with the opera here in Bucharest. I'm so excited to get some professional instruction . . . now I just have to make time to practice. See Egle and her husband singing here. According to Egle, Romanian singers are well known in the world's opera stages, as they receive excellent training here and then go abroad for performing opportunities (after all, there's only one major opera house in the country).

Raise those soft palates girls. (No, they're not really practicing vocal technique, just goofing around with photo booth.)
