Arcade

If you had been in Bucharest Saturday night, we would have taken you to dinner at Arcade, a neighborhood restaurant situated in a lovely old villa just two blocks from us.

Nice little "starter" salads . . . I would be remiss if I failed to point out the fresh sparkling lemonade.

Arches every where . . . Roman influence continues centuries later.

And for dessert, cataif halva: a Turkish whisked cream "cake" with nougat center and ice cream.
